You don't say what's in the cab, or what kind of 15 watt amp you currently have, so it may or maynot work... probably not... or at least not very well.

With bass amps you need a whole lot of watts so now you have to buy a head.  A friend of mine has an Ampeg he'll sell, but I think he wants to sell it along with his huge cab.
