I've been leaning towards the amp more however because to be honest I never much liked all the effects in the RP80, not because of the quality but because I suppose i just prefer to have individual stompboxes (i think they're more versatile). The only thing I liked about the RP80 is the fact that I could get alot of different amp tones out of it (clean Fender-ish tone, Heavy Mesa/Boogie-ish tone and some other nice clean and vintage like tones) the only thing I wished was that there was some way to have a footswitch to switch between dirty and clean tones, like a regular amp.

So I guess that's what I'm really looking for, just a way to get a lot of different amp tones by using one amp or one device to do it, any suggestions? Price isn't really a factor (since i'm not actually going to buy anything quite yet), I just want something that can switch between a clean and distorted amp (a must have, since i plan on playing live) and a nice variety of tones.
