Check the obvious things first. Is the guitar's volume turned all the way down? Have you tried another cable? Tried wiggling the cable in the jacks? Is the amp's power on? Fuse blown? Could it be the tubes? It's been a while since I've had them replaced. They light up although seem to look a bit dim. All the wires seem to be intact.

If it might be the tubes could anybody tell me a good brand for Marshalls?
