                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[There's another tone path to follow ... analog.<br><br>I had an Digitech RP-8 tube pedal and loved it for a long time. <br>A friend has a Line6 AX2 --- I got very jealous every time I borrowed his amp.<br>Line6 has every cool sound possible - Hendrix, Marshall, etc. <br><br>I have a very old Fender Deluxe Reverb, but I  didn't like the Fender sounds on the Line6.<br>It's hard to describe since the Line6 sounded so good. It was dead on ... almost.<br><br>I could tell that something was missing --- something very subtle and beautiful.<br><br>How do you describe what's not there?<br><br>I've heard people try to describe what I'm talking about on the web... "bloom", "breathiness", "coloring", "touch"<br>but words are meaningless unless you really hear it.<br><br>Anyway,<br>My recommendation is an old tube amp (Fender/Marshall) and analog pedals.<br><br>I have a Subdecay Stupid Box and want a Blackstar for my birthday.<br><a href="http://www.subdecay.com">http://www.subdecay.com</a><br><br>Also check out this site - it has a lot of sound files to listen to.<br><a href="http://www.tonefactor.com/index.php">http://www.tonefactor.com/index.php</a>]]></content:encoded>
