Yes, some of the Ramirez models are really expensive instruments. I think my guitar must be a sort of mid-range-student-model, for example, I can play days and days and it maintains the tuning... I also remember some comments of my teacher the first time that I learnt and he said it was a good guitar.

It was a gift of my father, he bought the guitar at the old Ramirez store. Last week I asked him for the price but he doesn't remember, just he said it wasn't a cheap guitar.

My idea is to buy a new guitar next month. Also I will ask for a luthier, maybe it can fix it up or at least gives an opinion!

Don't trash that Ramerez, I'm pretty sure that it's a really GOOD guitar! Do a little investigation on it and also see if you can find a good luthier to take a look at it, some of their models are quite expensive professional quality instruments!

Chances are that they might be able to fix it up for you and even if you don't care for it, it might be a good opportunity for you to either sell it or trade it for an instrument that would be better suited to you!
