                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[I just joined, found the site when I was looking for finger style guitar picking patterns. Nice to see a forum that is still alive (I hope?). <br>I've played the guitar on and off for a long long time but never really worked on it, until I one day in 2013 realised that I played the guitar more than the mandolin (which I've always considered to be my main instrument) and decided that I should get myself a good guitar and start working on it. I bought a Taylor 522E that I'm deeply in love with, and have learned some simple flat picking, my goal has always been to play Maybelle Carter and Norman Blake style. Now I got into finger picking, still some kind of Carter style, and having good fun with that.]]></content:encoded>
