I just wanted to introduce myself and post a few of my songs to say hello. I'm Jeff Coleman, I've been playing guitar since I was a senior in high school, since about 1989. My main influences are the usual suspects: The Beatles, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Ween, as well as Miles Davis and Joao Gilberto for jazz and bossa nova. Also modern dance and louge acts like Pizzicato Five and Fantastic Plastic Machine.

I've been writing songs since about 1990 and making recordings that whole time, although the tapes from before about 1999 are lost to the mists of time. In '99 I graduated from four-track to home recording on my computer, which suited me a lot more. I played briefly in a band in '90 and '91 but haven't really played before anyone since then.

I've posted some of my songs in the Hear Here forum, any feedback or comments would be most welcome.
