Anyway, Hi to you all, I'm excited to be here. My real name is Dieter Ulrich Peise. I'm a native German but they, meaning the United States of America, officially accepted me as one of their own on July 18th this year. I've been a guitar player and teacher for 27 years or so. I'm the founder and owner of GuitarIngenuity.com.
I'm married with two step-daughters and I have a day job. Also, I'm addicted to table-tennis, which is sometimes blasphemously referred to as "ping-pong". Other than that....well, let's see: both my wife and I got diagnosed with cancer within the matter of 7 months from each other.

Between family and job and all the other things I just mentioned, I try to make as much time for guitar. But in a sense, guitars and music is always with me. I think it's fair to say that I'm pre-occupied, possibly even obsessed with music and guitars, as I'm constantly thinking about it.

The reason why I'm here? Because just from what I've seen thus far, this is by far the best, most informative and most civil guitar forum on the web. It's a pleasure to be here. Hopefully I will be able to help here and there based on my experience as a guitar teacher - but I'm also here to educate myself by learning from you guys.
