The head/cab combo simply means that the amp is separate from the speakers. The amplifier (head) is in its own housing and the speakers (cab) also have their own. All you need to do is connect the speaker output from the amp to the input on the cab, plug the amp power cable into the wall socket, plug your guitar in and switch on.]]></content:encoded>

Plug your guitar into the amp with a guitar cord and adjust the controls to your liking.  If the amp is switchable from 8 to 4 ohms output, use 4, but I'd let the others who use this gear say more. 8)]]></content:encoded>

I got a Peavey 410 TVX amp from my stepbrother the other day, and its the oddest thing man! It has NO visible way to provide power to it. It has the plug on the back for the guitar and that the only plug visible anywhere! It sucks because its a real nice lookin amp. PLEASE HELP!]]></content:encoded>
