                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Milan Bogdan Life Time Achievement Award 2012<br><br>Come see Milan, chat with and play at the main stage Saturday night 8 PM!<br><br>You've heard the saying, "It's the cook in the kitchen." We'll mixers, producers and mastering plays a vital role in bringing a song to life. The little UMPHS! and letting a song BREATH can make the difference in a chart topper or something "common." Well Milan has been influencing songs and the direction of music for most his life a little tweeking at a time. Having been actively involved in the music business as a player, producer, engineer and songwriter doctor he has been involved in over 200 gold &amp; platinum records, projects spanning several musical genres including disco, pop R&amp;B, and country. (Album credits listed below.)<br><br>Milan started his career in Detroit at the age of sixteen working as an audio engineer for the historical and legendary Motown Records. Leaving Detroit in 1977  to be in Miami, FL. to work with KC and the Sunshine band and tour the world as KC's live sound engineer. During the five years working with KC &amp; the Sunshine band, he designed the first indoor 150,000 watt sound system in the world. After moveing to Nashville he became a consultant on several NBC and CBS television Network Specials. <br><br>Milans career continued to flourish, adding more gold and platinum records to his list of credits. In 1983 he  became General Manager of Emerald Studios and managed to increase sales by a factor of 4.5 times. In 1999 he became the General Manager of East Iris Studios, working on such acts as Elton John, Match Box Twenty, and Barenaked Ladies.  <br><br>Currently Milan is the owner and Chief Operating Officer of  Intellectual Music Group, along with partners Paul Zamek, Kevin Wayne, David LaChance and currently sit on the Board of Directors for "The Wayne Show". Milan is still available for Producing, Engineering, Mastering, and Consulting. Find your place in the mix.<br><br>It's part live original music festival, part music conference, part networking opportunity and part gathering of old friends held June 1-3, 2012. The live performances, education and Open House are concurrently running events. Attendees can take in all or parts and â€œPlay it by ear!â€ It's 3 Days of Live Original Music from all genres on multiple stages, classes, Open House and gathering of friends held at the top of Music Row in Nashville, TN representing the past, present and future of songwriting.<br><br>Songwriters of all genres share their music on multiple stages and open sing rings. The fest is open to all forms of songwriting, from the novice to the professional. There are no pre qualifications to play or attend. Everyone is encouraged to come as they are. All attendees will have the opportunity to share their words or music and find their place in the mix.<br><br>While at the fest, writers can also attend the Speciality Music Rooms on over 18 Industry Topics, Q &amp; A sessions and gather other personal tid bits, all about the craft and business of songwriting.<br><br>An Open House is held by participating recording studios, publishers, song pluggers and other music related businesses where writers can drop by without an appointment to ask questions, exchange samples or discuss what part they play in the business of Music. Register your music related music business for the Open House or if you're a festival attendee, stop by and check out some of the industry.<br><br>For registered and non performing writers there will be a â€œWriter's Areaâ€ provided by the Fest near the Info Booth. At the display table attendees can deposit their CD'S and the fest staff will take inquiries or make sales for participants.
