Seems I toasted it a while back, probably the homemade attenuator  The BH5H has lots more headroom than the EVH. I might take the EVH to a amp tech though, I kind of miss that bluesy tone. But I think the Blackheart is much more versatile.

BTW I was checking out your web site, you and Jr have done a lot of work on the man cave. Looking good :D

I just got my BH5H head yesterday  Its 5 watts with a 3 watt switch. It has bass, mid and treble also. I hooked it up to my old Peavy cab with a 12 in. speaker(I'm saving my nickles and dimes for the Black Heart cab). This thing is like the Epi Valve Junior but on steroids    It souds much clearer with the EQ and is louder than the epi although you might need a Tubulator or some such device if you want lots of distortion. I live out in the country with the closest neighbors about 300 feet from me but I'm pretty sure I could wake them up with this thing on full blast

It sounds good with the epi Dot but it really loves my strat. I ran it though a digital reverb on a low setting. I did some country lick ,surf music(Pipe-line), Blues (sweeeeet) and of course some classic Rock. I'll post some mp3's soon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNpBr3K38Do
