guys, i did it, i survived my first gig, and loved it. i was real nervous when we were setting up, but i started getting real excited and couldn't wait to start playing, i only made a couple
small mistakes and it was like you guys said, no one even noticed, except for my best bud
he plays lead, he just looked at me and smiled, the crowd was great , it seemed the more they got into it, the harder i rocked, god it was awsome, i'll never forget that feeling as long as i live. sorry i did not post yesterday, i didn't sleep much friday night and didn't get home from the gig until 4:30 in the morning, so i slept almost all day yesterday, and went out and
celebraded with the band last night for a little while. we are going to play there again next month. thanks you guys, for all the good advice and encouragement you gave me, i've never
ever had that much fun, and the feeling i had inside was , god i can't even explain it, i'm still
on cloud 9 lol, hey does this make me rock star? lol, i know just in my own mind, but its a start lol 8)

Isn't it the greatest feeling in the world, though? And people wonder why we do our best to encourage people to get out and play....
Looking forward to many more reports!

Glad to hear it went well.
I was playing, also Saturday night, and did think of you and your gig.
The best feeling is when the crowd is feeding off the players and the players are feeding off the crowd and it just builds and builds!
We had a birthday party going on where we played. The place was SRO all night. That is very unusual for us or the bar. Just another good gig night!
You'll have lots of those to come!
WTG, rocker!!!!! :D

Hey, you're not gettin' away that easy. I want a little more detail.
Where was this gig?
How many people were there?
What songs did you play?
Congrats on the gig. You are forever hooked now. :D
My band played Saturday night too. It was a first for me, we played a wedding reception. Very different from what I'm used to. I'll write a little report tomorrow.
Looking forward to your detailed report.
