It still goes over pretty well up here depending on the venue but most of the places we play people will like it.

I realized a few weeks ago I never really learned any of their songs so I went on a Skynyrd tear an learned a few but haven't played them with the band other than Sweet Home Alabama which I started one night when we had another drummer come by to practice. It actually came out really well for none of us ever talking about playing it and being the first time but haven't played it since.

Good luck with the show sounds like a good place to play

Wow thems some big sets. Looks good though. We play a few of those kryptonite, mustang sally, born to be wild and roadhouse.

We need to add about 6 or so more songs but haven't been able to without the drummer but we learned the new Godsmack version of Rocky Mtn Way just haven't played with our drumemr yet and a few Lynyrd Skynyrd songs I figure we need to have a few of those especially at some of the places I know we will play. So we have sweet home Alabama, Simple Man, Call me the Breeze, That Smell and Sat Night Special that we need to practice to.

How long to play a set about an hr and a half? This an indoor show or outside?

The first one is an hour, the 2nd is almost and hour and a half. Typically, we'll do 45-50 minute sets, but this is a show/birthday party for our singer/guitarist and drummer. They have a bunch of family and friends coming, so we're going to play long sets.

I love Rocky Mtn. Way, but being the bass player on that one, my ADD kicks in during the solo part where I'm just playing ba-bum ba-bum on the E over and over again. We know we'll have to learn some Skynyrd eventually, it's illegal around here to play in a bar and not play Skynyrd. I'm leaning toward Simple Man and maybe I Need You. Their bass player played some awesome, but difficult to play, parts.

This one is an indoor show in a nice air conditioned bar above a bowling alley that doesn't allow smoking inside. Big dance floor right in front of the stage, good beer on tap and some pool tables and dart boards. Should be a great time.
I'm liking that set list! Can I come down and sit in? I can't come down ....... too far so don't worry.
TR- come on down, brother!
