Congrats on the teaching accolades and such. 8) although i had a great season and recorded a personal best season average (213) and another 300 game, i have also acquired a partial tear in my rotator cuff. I'm looking at surgery in the next few weeks. it's been a mixed bag this year for sure. i decided to teach myself to bowl right handed and have been averaging around 135, with a current high game of 193.
My MRI only revealed a partial tear, and a load of scar tissue from years of abuse thru martial arts and numerous adventures on motorcycles, cars, ropes, etc.
i guess it could always be worse eh?

my wife came up with the funds to get me into the usbc bronze level coaching program conference in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on July 17,18,19. so obviously we were out of town on my birthday.

if i pass the tests, i will become our youth programs highest level certified coach and will be able to coach a local high school team.
in another year i will be eligible to test for silver level and hopefully find an opening as an assistant coach at one of the dominant college teams in the sport.

i appreciate all the happy birthday wishes and enjoyed reading them on my smart phone while i was in Oklahoma. unfortunately I'm not very astute at typing on those little things yet so i had to wait till i got home to answer.
