I'll add a second warning. Having a couple of drinks, then plugging in to play the blues with your best mates REALLY decreases the quality of your playing, while somehow inexplicably raising the volume. Eventually all the neighbors hear, come over, drink the rest of your booze, and if goes downhill from there...

Don't be a Dick. Speaking from the viewpoint of someone who's actually spent time in prison for drunk-driving, I wholeheartedly endorse Ric's statement. It isn't big and it isn't clever. I was lucky - a minor scrape with a parked car. It could have been a child.
