A big thanks to David for putting together a beautiful melody and music with my lyrics. It was a wonderful surprise to hear it recorded and sent to me one morning. Even more thanks for encouraging me perform it and for covering the vocals when I choke up and can't sing it anymore. It never would have been played without David's help and support.

I could tell just by watching that you were all into playing that song and having a great time. It's just one of those songs that moves you as soon as you hear it.

It looked as if you had been playing together as a band for many years, really!

And, my musial ear must be getting better because even though I couldn't make out what you were all fretting I was sure there was a Cadd9 chord in there somewhere and hey! there was.

I'll be having a go at this tonight and I'll try and get others play it with me too.

I've just seen and even better heard "One By One" Riverside Jam on youtube.

Only problem is, it takes ages buffering a few seconds or so - then plays a few seconds, then buffers the next bit!

First thing I heard though - "Things Happen" - I thought, hey, I know that song.....then it occured to me, Scrybe, Laura Dan and I played it on Monday!

I'll try it again in the AM, see if the connection's any better.....
