It's not a bad song, but I think it's becoming ok because we're hearing it so much. I don't think it's worth paying for. I think the comparison with Janis Joplin is overdone too.

Laz The girl's got my vote then - as a Liverpool fan for 40 years plus AND a Gerry and the Pacemakers fan (YNWA, How Do You Do It, I Like It, Ferry Cross The Mersey....) she gets ten instant street cred points from me!!!!

On a side note, I've tried a million times to work out "You'll Never Walk Alone" - if anyone has an accurate tab, PLEASE!!!!! share.......

On another side note, I actually won a Karaoke contest back in about 1990 by singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" ..... famous last words, "There's no f****** way you're getting me up to sing!"

I don't know much about other football clubs and the music they run out to - except Liverpool's deadly rivals, Everton run out to the "Z-Cars" theme....never quite worked out why....

But I do know, when you're at Anfield watching the reds, the buzz you get singing YNWA - hell, it's like being onstage! and it lifts the players.....Kevin Keegan once said, "when you're coming out of the tunnel and you hear that song, it gives you such a lift....many a time I've kicked off to Tosh (John Toshack) and wiped a tear from my eye when everybody's attention's been on him....."

I know I want that song played at my funeral - it's my favourite song of all time.....so many happy memories.....hell, even my mum and dad liked it! and my gran and grandad! when I was a kid, and Liverpool's match was on the TV, I used to make them sing it.....they HAD to like it!
