Keith

I think you should join in at the Open Mic. I ran an OM for over two years, and believe me, no-one is there to judge you or make fun of anyone. In fact, it is just the opposite. Open Mics are all about just jamming and having some fun. If you can play your chords, then get up and play rhythm guitar at first. If you sing, then do so! :D

And this is the place to find other musicians to jam with or form a band. I was in 3 different bands that formed from musicians I met while running the Open Mic. Many come hoping to run into musicians for that very reason.

Don't worry about your skill level. I have seen it all, people that can barely play two chords, and others who can play Randy Rhodes note for note. Everybody is welcome. 8)

One day I'll try it ...

I know most open and barr chords all the minor pentatonic positions, I have been working pretty hard with a metronome but I think its broken ....IT CAN"T SEEM TO KEEP UP WITH ME !

So if anyone is willing PM or e-mail me...

Thanks

Keith
