I should have listened to Ian Hunter back in '75.....Once Bitten, Twice Shy.....trouble is, I never listen to the voices. Not even the inner voice, who says his name is "Commonsense." Once bitten twice shy? Hah, I'm so full of teethmarks I'd have to iron them out! Even a hungry crocodile would turn me down as damaged goods.

It does help, though, if (like me) there's a bloody great vacant space between the ears - that way, all prattle (whether male or female) can enter through one ear and exit from the other relatively unhindered, without obstructions it just doesn't get noticed!
