I'm in. It could take me a while though. I have some recording issues to sort out. Like how to get Audacity to stop clipping and how to get Audacity to not pickup what's playing in Windows Media Player
If you are using Audacity up across the top is a volume control for your input and output. They are sliders. Use those to bring down your recording and output volumes.
As far as dual recording, check that your input selector for recording is set to analog/line in. Every once in a while mine pops up with "What you hear" and that means everything gets recorded onto your guitar channel. At least those are what I've run into with your issues. :D

In what program? It's not in Audacity or Media Player. Oddly enough, MSN also picks it up, mic or no mic plugged in.

Which version of Audacity do you have? Mine is 1.2.4.
Maybe an older version didn't have those sliders?

It does have the sliders. It's not Audacity that's the problem. Everything is all mixed together. If did the voice convo in MSN with you, you'd hear the music I had on, even if I didn't have the mic. People even say they can hear what's playing in YouTube.

Maybe in the Windows Control Panel, under Sounds and Audio Devices, you could bring up that panel which shows all the inputs and uncheck the ones that are letting other sources into the sound.

I was thinking about doing another one, too, but all I keep hearing is Slej's part :oops: for all of it. You know how you get a riff or something stuck in your head? :( I been listening to it too much.... :D
