I also just realized I'd never taken the coil tap hang tag off the guitar. (I've had it for about 2 years now) and the tag is on the bridge pup tone knob indicating "pull" on it. DOH.  :oops:

Very pleased to hear it  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen: <br><br>They sound fab with lots of distortion, although I think yours has got better pick ups then mine - mine on the HZ ones, where I think the C1 as active P81s?<br>If I am correct, active pups use batteries? If that is the case I have no idea where the battery is located. With that said, mine say "Duncan Designed" right on the pup covers.                         <content:encoded><![CDATA[Thanks Johnnie, I think compared to ESP they offer a better value for money, after playing them both for about a month now, I prefer the neck on the ESP - as it is slimmer and I have small hands..<br>But I prefer the sounds from the Schecter, it does have EMG's - which I think are slightly better than the ESP.<br>It also has a much harder finish than the ESP, so isn't prone to scuff marks.. although I was cleaning it the other day and my rabbit bit it - resulting in a scratch...<br>Overall I'm pleased with it.]]></content:encoded>

The finish seems to be about an inch thick, so you don't get a lot of character from the wood.  They are often paired with EMGs so I guess that doesn't really matter to most of their market.  For what you get I think they are often overpriced too - a cheap, mass manufacted nato guitar from Korea should be a lot less.<br><br>I personally don't like them but they definitely have their place, and for some people are probably an excellent purchase.]]></content:encoded>
