That must be Monica coming down the stairs wanting Bill
Treat others how you would like to be treated.
I hang out with a bunch of old farts who still have "garage bands", one in an old trailer house in the middle of a cow pasture, and one in an old farmhouse in the middle of a cow pasture (we all live in the sticks)!! But, the point I wanted to make is that I have NEVER seen any kind of bass player (or any player for that matter) show up in a tie for practice! But, you're right, he DOES look like an accountant!

Very cool pic! Wonder if I can get that to put on my wall? :)
I get the impression that they each came straight from work to the "jam session" in the basement. The lead guitarist looks to be a medical helicopter pilot. I think you guys are right in that the bass player is obviously suppose to be a business man like an accountant. Not sure about the other two. I also agree that it looks like a frightened daughter on the stairs. :)

Well the bassist's got a Rick so I'm not complainin'!
I can see a bit of me in all of them - though, thankfully, not the receding hairline - yet........

On second thoughts, looks like the tuesday night jam session at our local pub.....

Those guys are WAY better looking than my band.
We should call ourselves One Foot in the Grave.
The artist is so perceptive. I have often seen that very face and reaction from my teens. I am not sure if they are horrified because they believe I'm going through a mid-life crisis, or if they are worried that we are more cool than them. :D
Probably just embarrassed.
Again.
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Wonder what song they're playin'?
I wanted to learn to play guitar really badly and I think that I have succeeded.
A no-brainer: Blues in E
-=tension & release=-
That is so accurate I'm grinning ear to ear. :D

LOL - only just noticed the girl on the stairs - she's an absolute ringer for my youngest daughter.....

Looks like the guys in my high school band... 30+ years later  Like Jethro Tull said...Your never to old to rock-n-roll--the dog
I don't know who the artist is, but he's on the back of every Reader's Digest with some dead-on take on contemporary life. He's kind of a modern day Norman Rockwell.
Blame it on the lies that killed us, blame it on the truth that ran us down.
was thinking the same, seems very N Rockwell inspired,
#4491....
Did a little more digging (I wanted to make sure it was a he and not a she) - the artist is C.F. Payne and he lives right here in Cincinnati. RD has a page with all his back covers, but at the bottom they say sorry, but they're not available for sale at this time.

Here's another of his rock-inspired drawings
