BBC4, 11.45 to 12.40, "Highway 61 Revisited".....that's tonight (thursday)...

and tomorrow, Friday, we've got "Talking Bob Dylan Blues: A Tribute Concert"...a celebration of the poetic musician's songs...well that's what it says in the TV guide....8.30 to 10.30pm....

So thanks, Auntie Beeb...almost makes up for 20 years of Eastenders....

What I loved about the footage of Dylan pre accident, was his mastery of playing bass / strum patterns repetitively - he really seemed totally in control of the guitar. Plenty of use of subtle little chords shapes and dropped D tuning, and I loved his use of the bass strings, really fantastic to watch.

I loved the whole thing, thought it was fantastic.
