1) This is not the guitar that G Harrison etc played, Epiphone were a company in their own right, and a competitor of Gibson in those days, now they have been bought up by Gibson and produced in far Eastern copies, the pups are inferior to Gibson, and the finish is polyurathene, not nitro cellulous laquer.

2) There is a range called the "Epiphone Elitest", which are Epiphones, but built in the USA with Gibson parts, inc pups and are of superior quality.

The cost, in the UK, for an Epi is about 500 pounds, and the Elitist is about 2,500 pounds!

A buddy of mine has one, and it plays and sounds SWEET! I really liked the guitar, and I loved the tone.

I did a little bit of research on Sheratons some time ago, while I was looking to buy a semi-hollow guitar, and people seem to really like them.

You've checked out the Ibanez Artcores, right?
