I almost grabbed one at Guitar Center after playing it, but the price tag of $599 was a little steep for my budget at the time. A week later I scored my Sheraton on Ebay, practically unplayed, with a hard shell case for $325. If anyone is in the market for one, I suggesting looking at Ebay listings.

I do have an issue with the bridge on this guitar though. Check my post in the Repair & Maintenance forum and chime in if you have an answer for me! Thanks

I just recently bought a Studio Dot, which is a low end version of that type of guitar, and I really enjoy it. I like the sound a lot, and the Sheraton is bound to sound better(at least it should sound better but I can't say for sure, as I've never played one) and obviously, the Sheratons look a lot flashier then their younger siblings. They have a slightly wider neck then say a Fender strat, which I happen to really like, but it's a matter of taste. I can't get as bright a sound out of my Studio Dot as I can from my strat, which could have something to do with the pickups, I don't know. But it has a much cleaner sound then a strat even with the cheap pickups, and sounds sweet clean. I really love the warmth you can get from these semi-hollow bodies.

I did a little bit of research on Sheratons some time ago, while I was looking to buy a semi-hollow guitar, and people seem to really like them.

You've checked out the Ibanez Artcores, right? They're supposed to be a really great guitar for the deal, and they're really cool looking for pretty low price.

I'm positive that it's better than the fender hollow body I saw in a pawn shop today. I saw in another post that you've been playing for a year and a half, hopefully by now you are able to determine by playing an instrument if you like it or not. I'm not real comfortable with playing guitars in stores, especially if I'm not real serious about buying something, but unfortunately that's all you can do most of the time.
