We need more reviews like this. Hard to hear a guitar by reading words on Harmony Central. I don't think the guitar in the review has the active pickups though. My very first electric was an LTD Viper... but I found an interesting problem, not so much with the guitar per-se but how the guitar fit me.
Again I was brand brand new to guitar and I hadn't held/played one much past 10 hours total in my whole life.

Great guitars, good quality, good sound, fast, easy to play. Also look at their LP Copy's and the "F" Series.. that Goth looking thing. They're kinda cool.

Are the higher end models worth it? There has been a lot going on about cheap guitars sounding just as good as the higher end ones so I'm kind of lost there. I like the 400 but if the 200 is just as good.
