And wasn't Nilsson's "Everybody's Talkin' At Me" from Midnight Cowboy?

OK, here's a question - roughly how many Vietnam war films has "The End" by The Doors featured in? Or to make it easier, how many Vietnam movies HAVEN'T the Doors featured in?

Anyone remember a sci-fi series a few years back called "Dark Skies?" One episode was written around a young film student called Jim Morrison - another was written around the Beatles and their first American tour. I seem to remember, though, the music was great - the series was set in the sixties, and the music reflected those times.

There's a British TV series called "Heartbeat" - set in Yorkshire in the 60's. That's worth watching just for the old sixties music - although there have been some major gaffes. One episode was set in 1966 - "Wild Thing" by the Troggs was number one in the charts, a couple of characters discussed the record. Then later on the hero - a policeman - was working undercover on a pirate radio ship as a DJ and played "the latest chart sensation!" - Dock of The Bay by Otis Redding, which wasn't a hit till '68!!!

:D :D :D

Vic
