Hello everyone. My wife just started taking guitar lessons at one of our local music houses (she said that she didn't want to learn from me because she would more likely be intimidated and embarrased in the beginning:)). We went shopping for a guitar for her and decided that she start wth an electric with amp due to the easier playability of electric guitars. We got her a very nice Michael Kelly which just plays fantastic. Since she has started her lessons she has decided that she would like to focus on folk style guitar. I would like to get her a nylon string folk style acoustic (as she had some trouble with my steel string acoustics due to the required extra finger strength - and my steel strings all play about as easy as steel strings can get). She is a smaller lady and I feel she would do better with either a folk (concert) size or even a parlor size acoustic. Now, the only nylon string folk type guitars that I know of are the Art & Lutherie Ami (maybe a little under budget than I wanted) and the Taylor crossover nylon stringers (definatley too much outside my budget). Can anyone suggest some in between nylon string guitars in price between the ones mentioned? Thanks.
