'Gorgeous transparent blue' about sums up my first impression and the onset of GAS.
It seems like a real oddball guitar. I'd never even heard of the model and (outside of customer reviews that read like they were written by employees of Gibson) couldn't really find much info.
GAS has been dissipating since yesterday. It was a hefty price tag despite the apparent deal, so now I'm thinking mid level semi hollow...Maybe Gerry will sell me his; it seems to play pretty well!

My dream guitar has always been the ES 335. That's still way out of my price range, but I'm wondering if this model might be a good substitute.
As I progress, I'd be looking to play stuff between growly swamp rock and cleaner jazz based stuff. For some reason I've always thought a 335 type guitar would cover that territory. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!
