                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[100% in agreement with you there, jason, pretty classy isn't he?<br><br>I think it was Demoetc who brought Derek to my attention - posted a link to him playing slide in open E, then soloing in the same tuning without the slide - man, he must really know that fretboard inside-out, backwards and sideways and upside down!<br><br>Can't remember the song he posted a link to, I'd love to find it again - I think it was one by Govt Mule. Funny thing, once he'd finished the fingered solo, his slide re-appeared on his finger as if by magic....I think that impressed me more than anything.<br><br> :D  :D  :D <br><br>Vic]]></content:encoded>
