After listening to mostly "AM Pop" music, or my parents country music for most of my child hood, ( ), I heard this guy in 1976 & I was hooked!

Then my parents brought me an album for my birthday, at my older cousin's suggestion, as they were afraid of me listening to those "weird Kiss guys", and it was all over! 1st album from the super group this guy started:

I always felt that the music & image were a big part of a band. Great thread Wes!

don't know how to post a picture so i'm posting the link to the google search page of images of john frusciante.

pearlthekat, to post a picture you need a photo host like Photobucket. I like Photobucket because it's free and very simple to use. Just sign up.

http://photobucket.com/

Once you are signed up, you have to upload photos from your computer to your photo host.

1) Right click on photo and click Save Picture As. A box will open up usually under My Pictures. Save the photo there. Give the photo a name you can remember.

2) At Photobucket (other hosts should be similar) open up your account. A page will appear with a Browse function. Underneath you will see Submit. Click Browse. This will usually open up My Pictures on your computer automatically. Click on the photo you just saved and hit Open. You will see the photo file appear in the box under Browse at Photobucket. Now just click on Submit below. The photo will take just a few seconds to upload.

Now a page will open showing all the photos you have uploaded. Below each photo are 3 links. Just copy the bottom link and paste here. The photo will appear here.

OK, let's do it by the numbers - legs apart, heads down - BOOGIE! That's what these guys have been doing since the early 70's - and it still works.....

And just look at those smiles - you'd think they'd get fed up of cranking out the same riffs year after year - nah, they love playing too much! Said it before and I'll say it again, if the band's enjoying what they do, they're 90% of the way to winning over the audience....

:D :D :D

You can also link to pictures on the net by using the address of the image. Find a picture, right click, choose 'Copy Image Location' (or something similar, depending on browser), back to GN, post reply, use "Img" function, paste image location, hit "Img" again and submit. You should wind up with at the end.

Imageshack is another good alternative, and they offer something called 'trans-loading' - basically you can give them the image location and the site will automatically download the image to their servers and host it free of charge. You can then use the imageshack location in the img tag as described.

When I first saw this thread, I thought Rick Nielson , but I wanted a picture of him with a specific guitar.

It took me hours to find it.

I would have thought that there would be more pics of this great guitar out there in the interweb.

Finally, a doubleneck that can justify its existence. Probably the only doubleneck I'd ever consider buying ...
