I don't recall the artist's name, but the Twin Peaks soundtrack got a lot of play when the show was out and still gets fairly regular rotation in my CD player.

And a lot of my younger students like things like the themes from The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Mission: Impossible, The Pink Panther and other shows or movies
