The Jaguar has a smaller scale length of 24".
The Jazzmaster - 25 1/2"

The pickups are different.
The Jazzmaster has more of a P90 style pup.
The Jag, a more traditional Fender style single coil.

The Jazzmaster has controls more like a Strat.
The Jag has controls closer to a Fender Jazz Bass.

The Jazzmaster has a pup selector switch.
And the Jag has 3 different switches for the pup selection.

And That's about it....
