I did buy a Fostex digital 8-track recorder w/CD burner that was an open box item from MF. I haven't been unpleasantly surprised plus I saved $120 dollars. So I guess I did chance it once.


I have no idea what the final cost was for you but looking at it new, it seems like a good buy anyhow.

As for their S&D items, they have a 45 day return policy on them, just like new equipment. Without that, I wouldn't have chanced it. Bish: We recent turned the garage into a computer/music/sewing(wife) room. I ran satellite out there and everything. Even put a window unit in for those hot summer days.

Taso: That is actually a SX GG1 STD in natural Mahogany. Yeah, the same SX that's in that monster thread going on currently. I love it, especially considering it was only $150! The only thing I would change about it is the frets; they are very jumbo. The finish is really beautiful.

Arjen: Yeah, I read that in the manual. I have just been playing with the presets so far, not even adding effects. I'm trying to get a good baseline for each model. I love the Boutique clean and the AC30 models. I read before I bought it that some people think that Vox spent more time perfecting those AC15 and AC30 models, since they were their amps.
