Talked to the wife, and she might pick me one up for my birthday next week.  If not, I'll get it after the first of the year.<br><br>Thanks for all the input.  Anyone install pickups in the Seagulls, or are these generally just miked?

Most Seagulls have a cedar top, which gives a slightly different sound than a spruce top (which the Yamahas have). I kind of like them both, and I think I would have been happy with either. The neck on a Seagull is probably a tiny amount wider than the Yamaha, which might matter if you're trying to do John Mayer style acoustic stuff where he uses his thumb a lot to fret the low E string (as I am).]]></content:encoded>
