                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[it is good on walk on flat ground again and read your glad tidings.<br>thank you.<br>I am so sorry I wasn't eaten. my gear stays home.<br><br>the ride out and back, 1200 miles, was long. we played the two ukuleles I brought.<br>a baritone, tuned EADG, and a soprano, CEAG. also a Martin back packer set up for slide.<br>great fun. the van had a DVD player too.<br>it would have been nice to play in the back country, but high elevation, UV rays, rain and cold <br>could have destroyed those little things. plus we needed all the food and weather gear we could carry.<br>the packs ended up weighing 45 lbs or so. as food was eaten the weight dropped. but we had to carry out <br>everything we brought in. so not too much changed.<br><br>after the first hike in I felt I would never be able to do that four more times.<br>the next morning, however I fine. sore but fine and ready. <br>I am not bragging, I am expressing how incredulous it seems that I could do it. <br><br>Glacier National Park<br>go and see it before the glaciers melt.<br><br>I am working on a song.]]></content:encoded>
