                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Guess I'm a bit different. I never start playing with the same thing. It's usually a small section of whatever the current song is that I am learning.<br><br>Right now it's the intro to Stone Cold Crazy by Queen and Evenflow by Pearl Jam. Pretty much Ok with the Pearl Jam so it'll mostly be the Queen song.<br><br>I found that learning most songs takes maybe an hour or so to get the rhythm done for like 99% of the songs but in some songs there's always a little riff or something that needs extra attention so that is what I try and work on rather than keep playing the whole song over and over.<br><br>As we have this quassy band thing going on I just work on any parts of songs that either give me trouble or that I want to polish up a bit and since we have about 20 or so songs it's too many to play all at one time.]]></content:encoded>

"Why do I start with a D every time?" was pretty much the initial thought when I realized it. I guess G sounds like a more logical chord to start with. I normlly don't pickup the fact that I'm out of tune until I play a G....the third chord in the song I'm most likely to belt into from a D.]]></content:encoded>

I'll do a do re mi or do a deer scale then go off on a blues run, but end up playing Something by George Harrison, because it was the last thing I learned on the uke.]]></content:encoded>

Yep, that's me. Tonight I started noodling and hit the B string on the 15th fret - hey, you know what they say about variety.
