Went to my church gym today instead of walking to the park and back. Its a really nice place and only cost $1 per time to workout there. If you wanna just walk you they have a walking/running area inside that is free but I wanted to use the equipment today.

I purchased an iPod a few days ago and I was amazed at how much easier it is to jog/walk with that thing going. I went 2 miles running and hardly noticed.

Good job to all the rest of you. Glad we are sticking to it.. Keep it up

Rahul: for situations like that mankind developed gunpowder... ;)

Arjen, that is hilarious.

I laughed a pound off just reading that.

Thanks. :D

Everyone's doing so well, it's very inspiring! I lost the two pounds over the two weeks so going for another two - can walk more now with the weather cooling off - we do get snow and such in Australia, more south than where I live - I grew up in Sydney and they can have very cold winters esp in the Blue Mtns for example where it snows - guess I still haven't acclimatized to the subtropics. Anyway, good going every one :)

-19.4 lbs as of this morning's weigh in.

I started riding my bike to work, 15.6 mile round trip.

Come now, am I flying solo here? Somebody post something. 8)

Super Job Nick!! As of this AM's weigh in I was down 20.8 lbs. You are catching up fast. I have become a little complacent in the past couple weeks but only have 4 weeks to go on my challenge and still have 8.2 lbs to lose. You are giving me the incentive to kick start it again. I even considered getting a job so I could ride my bike to work(G). I did however run 8.5 miles today. Exercise seems to be the easiest way for me to create a calorie deficit. Your new mode of transportation is a terrific idea.Keep up the good work. How is evryone else doing?

Way to go Robbie. Exercise is cool, it doesn't necessarily reflect immediately on the scale, but it is really noticeable on the waistline.

EB, it's never to late to hop back on the wagon.

My weight's just plateaued this week but I've uped the exercise - about 20 mins low impact aerobics every second day, the other days yoga and some tai chi.

Got this book called yoga for slimmers - full of helpful tips and exercises - there's a four week de tox plan, the meals are a bit meagre, but think I might have to try following it at least every second day to shift the weight :)

Thanx for putting us back up Musenfreund, it was a nice gesture and the thread was important to some, myself included. I think a group situation lends real support to people trying to make habit changes.David I was pleased to see on the other thread that you were back on track! You say you are down 5, GREAT.Weigh in day for me today....I'll post the results later. Just wanted to get our thread up and current, it seems like a few were starting to post to the other one instead.

Voodoo welcome to the realm of the losers. Well weigh in day and I hit the old plateau, kind of a disappointment I had run 4 days and did cardio and weight training the pther 3. Down a total of 21 so far and now that I think about it, that is a good thing. Same with you twisted...Maybe a slow sure loss is easier to keep off and healthier too! How's everybody else doin?

Good job everyone! There are some great losses showing up. The only downside that I see is that you guys will have to put that gutiar money you've been keeping towards new slimmer clothes!
