I found a project amp once but didn't keep it. It was some sort of small Marshall.

Congratulations on your find!

Don't know if you saw it, but on another thread a while back I told about a friend of mine who got an old acoustic (1940's, I think) off the curb (a bit warped even) and sold it for $633 on ebay! :shock: It wasn't even an expensive make of guitar to begin with.

While driving home today I noticed an old "pleather" gig
bag sitting out with some trash for curbside pick up.
At first I passed on it thinking it would be some old
student size acoustic with a warped neck and the bridge
missing. Then I thought what the heck.

What I found inside was an old electric with one single coil pup
and an atrocious black paint job with lots of stickers. It has one
broken tuner but all the other hardware and electronics are fine.

I wish I had pictures but my camera fell in a river
and digital and water don't mix.

Anyways it's pretty much a beater but it may make a decent
slide guitar.

I stripped of the black paint and found it was originally
red with a gold interlocking JG logo on the upper horn.
It has a Strat style body and Fender type headstock with
"Made In Italy" stamped on the back.

I know it's not a great find but does anybody have any idea
what this may be.

It looks like it may be from the '60s or '70s.

It will be great fun to work on because if I mess up
I'm not out anything.

Oh and the gig bag is really too small but it fits another guitar I
have so I'm actually up one cheap "pleather"gig bag.

Not a bad day :lol:
