Some folks just seem to sell gear so easy, I have never been able to do that.

I did trade a Fender Bandmaster head and cab about 25 years ago for a nice acoustic guitar. The guitar was nice (the neck got broken accidently a few years later), but I really wished I had kept that.

I would keep the Sears amp. Those old amps got some great tone you don't really hear today. And the Squier 51 is already off the market, that might be worth some real bucks someday.

So I guess what I am saying is that it is ok to sell something that can easily be replaced, but hang on to the stuff that might be a real collector's item someday.

My 2 cents.

I'd never compare a woman with a computer...

Derek, I'm speaking about my first computer: more than 25 years ago. Currently I have several computers at home (curiously more than guitars) and enough spare parts to build a couple of computers more. One of the computers maintains the same box during the last 15 years but I've upgraded every main component several times.

My first computer was similar to a pocket calculator. My HP-48 or a iPhone have more computation power.

I mean sometimes you have to think twice because you can sell it for a small money that you can get from another side and that computer in my case or something could have a sentimental value in the future.
