This OOPs didn't happen to me but to my parents when they were purchasing my first electric guitar . It's really two OOPs in one because they didn't realize you actually need an amp to hear an electric guitar to make a decent level of sound . So that was the first OOPs . The second one was that they opened the case to show someone the guitar and failed to close the latches when they shut the case's cover . Consequently , when they arrived home to bring the guitar into the house they picked up the case by the handle and the guitar tumbled to the gravel driveway out the unlatched top . OOPs ! What was a perfect finish now had stone dents in it . It still played nice albeit acoustically until I finally got an amp .

P.S. It was an Aria SG copy purchased used from a cousin that , before my parents dropped it , was in perfect shape . It's still the best birthday present I ever received .
