To get back on point, I can only speak for myself so I'm with ghost rider on this one.

Unplugging from "the world" for lack of a better word is good for everyone if that includes music/computer/partying/my created reality whatever.

Being too much about one thing whether it be music/job/social is suffocating to me. It's a one-dimensional existence.

KSlblu That's so odd to hear since my college american politics professor told me that if you want real news you have to go outside of the US. Seriously though, when I'm at work, if I don't put my headphones on, I just hear the humming of computers, or people's conversations in the halls, etc... Actually there are a lot of people from Germany around the office now, and I don't understand German, and hearing their German conversations all the time drives me nuts, so I put on the headphones. I don't usually wear headphones outside in public, but that's more of a safety thing to me. If I wear headphones, I'm liable to get smushed by the crazy drivers around here. :shock: If that weren't the case, I'd definitely wear headphones to drown out those jerks.

Reality is impossible to see(or hear) anyways because it is entirely based on perspective. And everyone's perspective is subjective and the only way to 'see' true reality is to become objective which is impossible with our physical bodies.

I rather be in my created reality. I write music from up there in order to bring the people who are stuck in the mundane mud below up to someplace that is about more than just surviving and getting a paycheck; a place of beauty, fantasy, dreams, and of course art.
