AmazingI have never heard of "Fair dinkum" used to swear word because it can't Thats like telling someone they are a " Unbelievable " would that be offensive ?

An Australian woman thought she was cactus when a hostie got her back up over some classic Aussie slang during a flight in the US.

"Fair dinkum," muttered Sophie Reynolds when told there were no pretzels for her to snack on. The next thing Ms Reynolds knew, the crew had demanded her passport to note her details. The 41-year-old from Queanbeyan was stunned to find three uniformed officers waiting for her in Pittsburgh.

"They said: 'You swore at the hostess and there are federal rules against that'," Ms Reynolds told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "And I said: 'I did not swear at the hostess, I just said, 'fair dinkum'."

A SkyWest spokeswoman said "aggressive behaviour" had been witnessed on the flight, but no charges were filed.

Vic I've never been to a bbq where anyone has cooked shrimp (and we don't even call them shrimp: they're called prawns!).

Bloody embarrassing advertising people. :P Advertising people didn't like prawn because it a word that describes themselves :):)

Vic : there is always a few snags and steak with onion on my BBQ for you anytime , I don't bbqing prawns I like mine boiled ...
As for tinnies well as long as it is XXXX count me in :):)
