"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
I have simple tastes: I'd like at least one of just about everything. Figured I'd better not try posting a pic of that.
Vacate is the word...Vengance has no place on me or her...Cannot find a comfort in this world.
I can't find a picture anywhere, not even google images :( (doesn't help I can't remember the name, nighthawk? nightwing? blackwing? something like that...)
It's a JJ Hucke guitar that they used to make, back when they were a tiny little outfit. Roughly flying V shaped, but the points were curved leading to a sharp point, kind of like the shape of a blade on one of those old fashioned can-openers. It was gorgeous.
If anyone's offering though, I'd 'settle' for a proper '59 Les Paul
Yay, found it! Terrible image quality, but hey, whatcha gonna do? :)
*drools*
Simple tastes for simply beautiful instruments
B.B. King's Lucille
Not the most expensive stuff around but I'm not about to spend this type of money at present. It is something to aspire to though and someday my playing will warrant such gifts.
Michael
I like teh B.B King Lucille, but I like the Blueshawk more.
Who needs a signature?
I mean really...
It's almost always lyrics...
or a cliche...
or garbage about me...
Lets just save YOU from the pain, ok?
And a Koa top Taylor T5:
I'm loving this guitar. I'd love to get my hands on one.
Yeah -- been having evil thoughts about trading in my maple T-5 C for the Koa version.
-=tension & release=-

You all have amazing taste. Just looking through this thread makes me drool. Haha.

I wish my playing ability was a quarter of my taste in wood

Is it bad that I want to improve my playing soley for the justification of buying new guitars?

Is it bad that I want to improve my playing soley for the justification of buying new guitars?
You don't need justification, just the money. I'll remember that one when I've got enough for my dream guitar.
there's a lot of ways to look at anything.
you can think you need to justify a new guitar purchase by playing ability or you can figure that a new guitar will make playing easier so you can get better faster. anyone who is good at guitar can make a poor guitar sound at least pretty good but if you can't play too good to begin with, a great guitar that's easy to play wil help you along. at least that's my justification for my new Martin. 8)
