Who Else is on MSN Messenger?

When I'm online I usually have MSN running. I'm not online too much lately but feel free to add me.

Is it telling you that your host file is screwed up? I ask because I had that problem not too long ago. What finally fixed it for me was to get another account (the link is at the bottom right on your sign in page). Once I got that, my original began working again since the new account had to make a new host file and evidently they both run off of the same one. Hope that helps! :D

I wonder where that host file resides? It seems if it could be deleted a new account might not need to be created.

I've got a good one (problem) while we are on it. I created a new account since I couldn't figure out how my old one logs in from work. ( it does it automatically and I don't know the password)

So I created a new account to use from home. It went well, I can log in and use it but I keep getting a message that my email account hasn't been confirmed yet. It says to go to my inbox and click on the email I received from msn to validate my account. The problem is I never got that email and this irritant keeps popping back up.

Any thoughts on what to do to rid myself of this irritation?

It resides in the Windows/System32 file. But, I already tried that when I had my problem and it didn't do a thing! :D It was still looking for it and not finding it so it kept giving me that same error message. :roll: :)

Short of either creating a third account or emailing MSN, I just don't know. One thing I DO know, though, is that you can retrieve your forgotten password to your original account on your profile page at MSN! :D

I don't have access to the MSN anything due to getting rid of DSL a couple years ago and abruptly losing my MSN account.

I decided to use Help and Support and do a System Restore using a Restore Point. Seems to have worked. Computer blacked out when I was online last night and Yahoo! is acting up, but things are better then over the weekend. I can't figure out how I can be signed in and not signed in at MSN Messenger at the same time. Weird.

Im usually on about two or three times a week.
