yes he plays most all of the solo work on his songs.
as some may remember i catch the "Imus in the morning" radio show which is simulcast on MSNBC on cable and satellite.
Imus frequently has great musical guests and BP was on last week, that boy can flat out pick a Geetar baby!

in the spirit of the holidays i also recommend the Brad Paisley Christmas album as well, the very funny cut, "Kung Pao Buckaroo Holiday"

I was listening to Brad Paisley's album 'Time Well Wasted' today and two things crossed my mind.

1) Wow, this is a great album!
2) There's some pretty fancy guitar in here as well.

My question involves the second of these of these. Does anyone know if Brad plays the solo guitar parts on his albums? Some of the guitar work is just fantastic. There's one instrumental piece called 'Time Warp' where the guitar, fiddle, and piano take turns trading solos in styles ranging from country to blues to jazz. It's really quite fun to listen to, and the instrumentals are spectacular.

My comment involves the the former observation.
