The Red Hot Chili Peppers played in Stockholm last night and what a great show it was. I had to wait a 3-4 hours in the cold and VERY windy wheather, but it was all worth it because I got to stand almost just in front of the band.

They played almost of their big hits, and also the more rock-orientated material from Stadium Arcadium. I was a bit worried it would be mostly ballads because of the new album but it was a great mix.

But the best part were all the jams! It started with John playing a five-minute guitar solo and ending with an outro guitar solo to "Give it Away" that lasted at least ten minutes. And between there where even more guitar solos and Flea playing a pair of base solos. There was also a lot of improvisation in each song which made the whole show interesting. For a couple of songs John played a Gibson Les Paul which made a bit surprised, because I thought he only played Strats and Teles.

John Frusciante also played a wonderful acoustic song by himself, but I don't know what the song is called. I'm pretty sure it was a cover.

The crowd was really great with everyone singing with the band in songs like "Under the Bridge", "Snow" and "By the Way". I missed "Otherside" though which is one of my favourtie songs from the Chili Peppers.

They seemed to be a little tired from the long tour though, but I think they did a great job :D .
