Ya gotta breath, you have to take care of the strings (Vocal chords in this case) and you gotta feel comfortable playing it. Its true of guitar and singing.

Geoo Axl also chained smoked like it was going out of style. I remember seeing Metallica making fun of him on TV cause they said he was back stage with a vodka in one hand and was chain smoking cigarettes and complaining about his voice being scratchy are hoarse and not know if he'd be able to go out and sing. I mean like HELLO.

But i do love the old Guns N Roses. the music rocks and stil does and I still listen to the older stuff from time to time and did this past weekend. The problem for me is, when the only original member now is Axl.....it's not GnR anymore. Bring back Slash and duff and Matt, izzy, I'll go buy the CD. I agree with a previous post about hearing the demos off of Chinese Democracy and not being impressed. As much as I am a GnR/Axl fan, I thought what I heard was "boring".

Chinese Democracy is the album that never was. I really do hope it finally gets polished and released, but how many times has the release date been pushed back?

I'm a huge GNR fan and have been wondering about the most anticipated release of Chinese Democracy. I am not sure if any of you are aware of it or not, but check out the following website about the release of CD and other AXL and GNR info:

I am not sure about any information about Axl's voice. I saw GNR in concert several times and each time his voice was perfect! I do recall him canceling a lot of tours though back in the day because his voice needed "rest."

Anyway, I haven't heard any demos off of CD yet, but either way, I am still going to buy it. Axl is an amazing front man and singer - I hope the release of Chinese Democracy brings him back because, let's face it, we need him!
