First things first - ignore the embarrassing failed...thing in the middle. I obviously failed at whatever I was trying to do =)

I'm more comfortable singing in my head voice, but I'm trying to sing in various pitches and voices - for some reason, I find myself straining to use my chest voice - not in terms of going low, but breath control or something, I feel as though I don't have enough breath...
In the first clip, could you tell me which time I'm doing it right?
