Ive been playing guitar for closeto forty years. got my first lap steel three years ago. Ive built two and plan on two more.
I also picked up a 74 Sho-Bud pedal steel last january. lots of callenge there, but fun.

I have a broad world taste in music.
I am listening to Mike Aldridge as I type. also old Hawaiian slide and Americana.
blues, rock I like them all. Zep is a riot on lap steel. might try some AC/DC
in C6 to see what happens.
my main tunings are :
open G
C6/A7
DADGAD
Cm7
E9 on the pedal steel
and standard for my strat.
