It is supposed to have a capo on the 4th fret, however she asked me to play it open (with no capo). I personally think that it ruins the song and i can't stand playing it that low, now i know that not everyone can sing the same, and i don't want to complain too much because maybe she just can't sing it the same way it was written. but it just seems to me that there's no way she can be that far off. She's been singing with lessons for 2 years so she must know something. She claims that she's singing it higher than the actual song, yet she is asking me to play the notes 2 steps lower? I get the feeling shes hitting a whole entire new key or something and i wondering what i should do.
